Patricia K. "Patty" Meyer
An LMU Screenwriting Professor, Screenwriter, and Producer with decades of experience in the entertainment industry. Her lifelong commitment to understanding father-daughter relationships led to the creation of this podcast series. With a rich career spanning film and television, Patty brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her role as host. Her own experiences with her father, Stanley Meyer, the legendary producer of Dragnet, have informed her perspective on this complex relationship dynamic. She is especially proud of her close relationship with her son, Joseph Meyer Rosenblum, a phenomenal human being and baseball coach, who just happens to be Director of Player Development with LMU's Division 1 Baseball Team. For many years, Susan has been giving workshops and presentations at numerous local, national, community and professional organizations, and lectures worldwide on various aspects of Jungian analysis. She has written several journal articles and book chapters on daughters and fathers, Puella, Sylvia Plath, and has co-authored a couple of books.

Gail Rosenblum
Minneapolis-based producer, journalist, essayist, public speaker, and teacher, Gail has written for dozens of newspapers and national magazines for over more than 40 years. Her first book “A Hundred Lives Since Then: Essays on Motherhood, Marriage, Mortality & More" can be found on Amazon. In 2019, she founded MPGL Entertainment (Man Plans, God Laughs) — a nonprofit educational company producing animated films and teaching lessons to nurture a generation of informed, empathetic and engaged young adults. She is now the full-time producer of "Milkweed” (https://milkweedthemovie.com/) — a feature animation based on the Holocaust-era novel of the same name by beloved young adult author Jerry Spinelli.
Terri Hanauer
Actor, director, photographer, and author, Terri illuminates her years growing up with her formidable father — a lifelong butcher, shul gabbai, and Holocaust survivor. She is a multiple award-winning Los Angeles theatre director, recently winning the Broadway World Los Angeles Best Director Award. Her first feature film, Sweet Talk, is streaming on Gravitas Films. She directed a season of HBO Cinemax’s Zane’s Sex Chronicles and Amazon’s Smothered. She is a graduate of AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women. She worked extensively as an actress and photographer in the States and Canada, appearing on countless TV shows — Seinfeld, Beggars and Choosers, Six Feet Under — and at the Mark Taper Forum and Arena Stage Theatre. She’s a graduate of Toronto’s York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her poems and stories have been published in Beyond Words Literary Magazine, Cathexis, Ariel Publishing, Prometheus Dreaming, Side-Eye Anthology, and On The Bus. Her debut novel, The Lightness of Rain, and her self-help book, The Party – How to Have Fun While Finding True Love, are available on Amazon and in bookstores.
Pia Massie
A multi-media artist, environmental activist and teacher, Pia Massie has worked on films and art that have been exhibited in museums, festivals and galleries throughout North America and Europe, including The Museum of Modern Art, Musée Cantonal des Beaux Arts, and Gallery 881, Monica Reyes and the grunt gallery in Vancouver, British Columbia. Massie's writing has appeared in: DAMP: Contemporary Vancouver Media Art; Foret-Frontiere: Une Action Art / Nature; as well as The Bulletin, Adbusters and Ricepaper magazines. Her work has received Canada Council and BC Arts Council grants, a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant and numerous other awards. Pia has taught and mentored for over forty years, in gratitude to her early teachers, many collaborators and friends. This includes work at community centres and universities, outdoor environmental education and film schools, kindergarten through graduate school, in three countries: Canada, the United States and Japan.
